No, CitizenReady is an independent test preparation service. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs.

Our questions are based on the official resource book, but we recommend studying the official materials in addition to using our platform.

Mode A is a values-focused practice test that helps you master the critical Australian values questions.

Values questions are critical because you must get ALL of them correct on the actual citizenship test to pass. Use Mode A to practice until you're confident!

Mode B simulates the actual Australian Citizenship Test format and scoring.

Our scoring follows the official Australian Citizenship Test guidelines:

Mode A: Must get 100% (5/5) to pass

Mode B: Must meet BOTH requirements:

• 75% overall score (15 out of 20 questions)
• 100% on values questions (all 5 values questions correct)

After each test, you'll receive immediate feedback showing your score, breakdown by question type, and detailed explanations for any incorrect answers.

Yes! After completing any test (Mode A or Mode B), you'll see a detailed results page showing:

• Your overall score and percentage
• Pass/Fail status with visual indicators
• Breakdown of values questions vs. other questions
• Review of all incorrect answers with correct answers and explanations

Premium users can also view their complete test history in the dashboard to track progress over time.

No, our subscription is a one-time purchase for 30 days. There is no automatic renewal or recurring billing.

If you want to continue using premium features after your subscription expires, simply purchase a new subscription. Your test history and progress will remain saved.

When your premium subscription expires:

• You'll automatically revert to the free tier
• You'll have access to 1 free mock test again
• Question bank access will be limited to sample questions
• Your test history remains saved but won't be visible (returns when you upgrade again)
• Study streak and progress data are preserved

You can upgrade anytime to regain full access!

Your Consumer Rights: Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you have guaranteed rights that cannot be excluded. Nothing in our refund policy limits these mandatory consumer guarantees.

You are entitled to a refund if:

• There is a major failure with the service (e.g., service substantially unfit for purpose or materially different from described)
• Critical technical issues prevent you from accessing the service for an extended period
• The service does not match our description or advertised features
• Duplicate charges or billing errors

Voluntary refunds may be provided within 48 hours for:

• Technical issues preventing service access (verified by our team)
• Accidental duplicate purchase

Subject to ACL rights, refunds are generally not provided for:

• Change of mind after accessing subscription content
• Passing the test early or not using the service

The actual citizenship test uses questions from a large official pool maintained by the Department of Home Affairs. While our questions cover all the same topics and follow the same format, we cannot guarantee that identical questions will appear on your test.
